Vision insurance 401(k) with Company match Life insurance Long- and Short-Term Disability insurance Parental leave FMLA Position Summary: The FEA Authorization Specialist performs a wide range of duties requiring independent judgment in the preparation and processing of fiscal activites and other transactions to ensure compliance with federal, state, waiver, and funding agency guidelines. Essential Job Functions: Effectively and professionally communicate with all internal and external customers. Provide excellent customer service by promptly following up and resolving concerns and questions. Adhere to established Lori Knapp Choice policies, procedures, and expectations. Update authorizations for each Managed Care Organization in the appropriate payroll software in a Timely fashion. Access each individual Managed Care Organization portal to obtain authorizations. Compile budget tools where applicable. Work with Managed Care Organizations to update or correct authorizations as needed. Correspond with Care Managers when applicable. Work with the FEA payroll and referral departments to obtain necessary approvals.Establish an understanding of the Lori Knapp Choice history and services. Familiarity and adherence to all fiscal agent policies and procedures. Who You Are: Documented formal education or experience related to accounting and financial management. Working knowledge of laws and regulations pertinent to essential job functions. Successfully pass a criminal background check upon hire and every 4 years thereafter. Ability to meet company transportation expectations. General math, clerical, data entry, and customer service. Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office with a specific focus on Microsoft Excel. Work independently, with limited direction, and have excellent Time management skills. Manage mulƟple projects and work assignments.
