Lateral Partner Recruiting Specialist For the New York Office of a National Law Firm Responsibilities include: Support the recruitment of lateral partners firmwide, through scheduling interviews, coordinating on-site and virtual interview logistics, and supervising feedback collection. Monitor and maintain candidate pipeline, including regular check-ins on the stage of each process, updating all candidate records, and ensuring data integrity daily. Manage collection of candidate documentation, including business plans and Lateral Partner Questionnaires, and act as a point of contact for lateral partner candidates and recruiters throughout the process, ensuring consistent communication and feedback. Coordinate and communicate with the Risk and Conflicts team on preliminary conflict checks for each candidate. Conduct initial e-diligence on each candidate introduction, escalating issues or concerns if needed to the Director of Legal Recruiting and CTO. Assist in the preparation of offer letters for all candidates, onboarding and integration efforts and specialist projects as assigned. Qualifications include: 3-5+ years of legal recruiting experience in a law firm or professional service environment. Sound judgment and adaptability in navigating evolving priorities, shifting schedules, and sensitive situations common in senior-level recruiting processes. Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Excellent client-service approach to interactions with team members, vendors and candidates. Strong data entry skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to information gathering.
