Regional Sales Director, Immunology - Northeast Region

Merck seeks an experienced sales leader to direct the immunology sales organization across the Northeast region. This second-line leadership role manages district managers and field teams, overseeing regional strategy, P&L performance, customer relationships, and talent development to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead, recruit, develop, and retain high-performing regional sales team and district managers
- Own customer portfolio and experience, ensuring accurate communications across all team touchpoints
- Build relationships with senior healthcare leaders and industry thought leaders for strategic engagement
- Achieve regional business results and meet defined P&L targets for assigned territory
- Align account strategies with payer considerations to optimize access and reimbursement outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 10 years pharmaceutical sales, marketing, or managed care experience
- At least 3 years of people management and team leadership experience
- 3+ years building and managing customer relationships in healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors
- Regional residency with ability to travel up to 50% including overnight trips
- Demonstrated strategic business planning and omnichannel execution capability
- Strong knowledge of regional healthcare dynamics, provider networks, and reimbursement strategies
- Valid driver's license required
