Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid LBS1 Credentials required
• Previous experience supporting middle school students preferred
• Strong background in individualized education planning and IEP implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and related service providers
• Ability to efficiently manage caseload and maintain compliance with special education standards
• Commitment to fostering inclusive classroom environments

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and update educational strategies as needed
• Work closely with general education teachers to support academic and social-emotional development
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and parent conferences
• Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation aligns with school and state requirements
• Create a supportive, engaging classroom atmosphere that promotes student success
