Lead the alignment of the strategy and approach for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing the project with key stakeholders. Build and manage the project schedule, define the critical path, track activities to ensure functional team members are meeting agreed upon deadlines. Generate and communicate status reports, and escalate critical issues. Preventive management of roadblocks and generation of risk mitigation plans. Coordinate and facilitate project meetings including kick-off meetings, project team meetings, risk assessments, lessons learned, post launch reviews and additional meetings as required. Managing projects and their cross-functional teams through the established processes, including the stage gate process. Identify, document and ensure implementation of process improvements. Drive proper and consistent use of the stage gate project management tool by: maintaining and ensuring data accuracy, deliverable completion, and documentation as specified by relevant policies and procedures, and continuous improvement through maintenance of templates and supporting documentation. Meeting established Key Performance Indicators KPI’s. Apply leadership, coaching and influencing skills to manage cross-functional teams and drive projects forward, ensuring time and resources are used effectively and efficiently to meet project and business objectives.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in International Business, Engineering or a related field plus10 years of experience in the job offered or in a Technical Team Lead occupation. The required experience must include the following: 10 years of cross functional experience;3 years of experience in effective project management;3 years of experience working with project management software including MS Projects, Microsoft Office, Power BI, and Microsoft Teams;3 years of experience managing and leading teams;3 years of experience using planning/tracking tool;3 years of experience defining and articulating a project management timeline;3 years of experience leading project meetings and communicating project informs and escalations to Senior Leadership; 3 years of experience coordinating global innovation or process improvement projects across different international markets.Work Location: 1812 N Moore Street, Arlington, VA 22209To Apply: Please email resume to: View email address on click.appcast.io.
