Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Description Occupational Therapist – Sub‑Acute Care, Paterson, NJ Shift and Hours Full‑Time, preferably modified schedule. Observe residents and write evaluations, progress reports, discharge summaries, and all necessary documentation. Assist residents in carrying out specific exercises. Treat residents with a variety of techniques. Help residents use necessary equipment and devices. Educate residents on how to exercise properly to strengthen muscle and improve function. Maintain residents’ confidence by keeping information confidential. Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements. Contribute to the entire team’s effort and goals. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited OT program. Current NJ State OT license. Experience in long‑term‑care settings preferred.
