In-Home Senior Caregiver — Flexible Hours

Personal Care Assistant Location: Medina, Texas Job Type: Part-time and Full-time Salary: $14–$16/hour, based on experience Job Summary Are you a compassionate and dependable caregiver looking for rewarding work? Always Best Care Boerne is seeking Personal Care Assistants to provide high-quality in-home care for seniors in Medina, TX and nearby communities. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play an important role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, and helping ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being. We are continuously hiring for this role as we continue to serve clients in Medina and surrounding communities. Shifts Flexible scheduling Monday–Sunday Morning and evening shifts available Shifts starting in 4-hour increments Live-in shift opportunities may be available based on client needs Pay $14–$16/hour, based on experience Key Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide mobility and transfer assistance to ensure client comfort and safety Provide medication reminders Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed Perform light housekeeping related to client care Provide emotional support and companionship Document care provided and report changes in client condition to the supervising team Encourage participation in appropriate recreational activities and social engagement Help ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times Qualifications Willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per month Willing to use our integrated platform for documentation and time tracking Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required; training is provided Passionate about helping seniors and making a difference in their lives Strong communication and interpersonal skills Able to meet the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting and mobility assistance Dependable, patient, empathetic, and trustworthy Able to maintain confidentiality and follow instructions Authorized to work in the United States Valid driver's license required Reliable transportation required 3 professional references Must pass a background check and drug screen Benefits Flexible scheduling — choose shifts that work best for you Medical, dental, and vision insurance, based on eligibility 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) accruals Weekly pay Daily Pay available through Tapcheck Holiday Pay — 10 holiday shift opportunities paid at 1.5x your hourly rate Mileage reimbursement for in-visit travel 24/7 office support Caregiver referral bonuses Performance bonuses, including Above & Beyond, Client Compliments, Great Compliance, and more Continuous paid training Sign-On Bonus Eligible Personal Care Assistants who commit to working 20+ hours per week may receive: $250 after 90 days An additional $250 after 180 days The 20+ hours per week requirement applies specifically to sign-on bonus eligibility.
