Business Analyst Sales, Marketing and Communications Full-Time Position At Cirque du Soleil, data helps shape how we understand our audiences, optimize our business, and support better decisions across a global portfolio of shows. As a Business Analyst, you will help turn complex data into meaningful insights while contributing to the data foundations that power analytics across the organization. Working alongside experienced analysts, engineers, and business leaders, you'll contribute across the full analytics lifecycle—from exploring business questions and developing analytical models to improving datasets and supporting scalable data solutions. This role offers broad opportunity for impact across analytics, data science, and modern data architecture. What You’ll Do Partner with business stakeholders to translate questions into analytical and technical solutions. Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights. Develop statistical and predictive models to support forecasting and business decision-making. Design, build, and maintain datasets that support reporting, analytics, and modeling. Create and optimize SQL transformations, tables, and data models that improve data accessibility and quality. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data architecture and analytical capabilities. Develop dashboards and reporting solutions that enable self-service insights across the organization. Explore new analytical techniques, AI capabilities, and technologies that improve efficiency and decision-making. Contribute to improving documentation, data quality, and analytical best practices. Complete all other job-related duties as assigned. How You'll Operate Work independently while collaborating closely with teammates across business and technical functions. Balance analytical thinking with hands‑on technical execution. Build scalable solutions that can be reused across teams rather than one‑off analyses. Approach problems with curiosity, asking thoughtful questions and seeking to understand the business behind the data. Embrace AI and modern analytics tools to accelerate analysis, automation, and insight generation. What You’ll Bring 2 - 4 years of experience in business analytics, data science, analytics engineering, or a related field. Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases. Experience using Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, or automation. Familiarity with building datasets, ETL processes, or analytical data pipelines. Experience with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work through ambiguous business questions. Effective communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences. Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Verification of the right to work in the United States for Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, as demonstrated by completion of the Form I‑9 upon hire and the submission of acceptable documentation (as noted on the Form I‑9) verifying one’s identity and work authorization. Bonus Points For Experience in entertainment or sports. Experience with cloud data platforms such as BiqQuery, Azure, or Snowflake. Familiarity with dbt or modern data engineering practices. Exposure to machine learning, predictive analytics, or optimization techniques. Experience working with customer, marketing, or digital behavioral data. Experience using AI-assisted tools for analytics, development, or automation.
