Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech services for a school setting. This remote position offers flexibility to support students via virtual platforms while maintaining a strong work/life balance. The role operates under 1099 contractor status, providing independence and competitive compensation.
Location: Remote (based in Henrico, VA area)
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students through telepractice
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports
- Collaborate with educators and other specialists virtually to support student communication goals
- Ensure compliance with relevant educational and therapy regulations and standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology License or Certification appropriate for school-based practice
- Experience providing telespeech services in an educational environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills compatible with virtual work settings
- Ability to use teletherapy technology effectively to engage students remotely
- Self-motivated with the capability to manage schedules independently under 1099 status
