Job Details

• Salary: From $25 to $50 per hour, flat rate
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Location: Waukee, IA 50263
• Work Hours: Monday through Friday, no Saturdays

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Automotive Service Technician with at least one year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality work, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This role offers strong career growth and rewards consistent performance with increased earning potential.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and accurately diagnose customer concerns using the latest diagnostic tools and software.
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers and team members at all times.
• Stay updated on technical publications and service communications to ensure quality service.
• Deliver safe, clean, and high-quality vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring work is completed right the first time.
• Address customer concerns thoroughly and document work performed clearly and accurately.
• Identify additional maintenance opportunities by inspecting vehicles according to manufacturer and local recommendations.
• Participate in factory or in-house training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and ensure proper documentation is attached.
• Arrive on time, dressed in a clean uniform, ready to perform duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager or General Manager.

Job Requirements:


Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in automotive service, including warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience with Stellantis vehicle brands is preferred but not required.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed performance goals.
• Excellent communication skills and professional appearance.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and technical documents.
• Good judgment and the ability to follow management guidance and procedures.
• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.

Education and Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE certification or equivalent technical aptitude required.
• Technical or trade school degree is preferred.
