Sr. Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development, testing, and transition of cloud-based system components.
• Collaborate with experienced team members to support project deliverables.
• Assist in identifying and addressing security concerns within application codebases.
• Support production activities through data analysis and database queries.
• Participate in design discussions, analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation efforts.
• Promote quality through code reviews and automated testing practices.

Job Requirements

• Several years of relevant professional experience in software development or engineering.
• Experience working with cloud-based platforms and services in a distributed environment.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining backend services using modern frameworks.
• Ability to work across different layers of an application with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with relational database systems is a plus.
• General understanding of networking and infrastructure concepts in a cloud environment.

Preferred Qualities

• Experience developing cloud-native applications using common programming languages.
• Broad understanding of infrastructure, security, and data systems.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
