Registered Nurse I

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse I to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in Rochester, NY. As an entry-level professional nurse, you will provide safe, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population while working alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team dedicated to clinical excellence and community health. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care, including comprehensive assessments, planning and implementing nursing interventions, administering medications and treatments, and continuously evaluating patient responses. You will collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and ancillary staff to coordinate individualized care plans that promote optimal health outcomes and a positive patient and family experience. The Registered Nurse I will utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to recognize changes in patient conditions, respond promptly to emerging needs, and escalate concerns appropriately. You will accurately document all aspects of care in the electronic medical record, uphold infection prevention and patient safety standards, and follow all Rochester Regional Health policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
