This full-time remote position allows professionals to deliver critical mental health support to individuals and families through telehealth. Work Environment\n

As a remote Telehealth therapist, you will engage with clients from the comfort of your own home or workspace, utilizing digital platforms to conduct therapy sessions. Our telehealth model allows for flexibility and ease of access for both therapists and clients, promoting a comfortable setting for mental health treatment. Collaboration within our multidisciplinary team happens through digital communication tools, fostering a cohesive approach to care while ensuring clients receive the most comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients’ specific needs.

  • Implement and evaluate clinical treatment programs, regularly updating strategies based on patient progress.
  • \n
  • Engage in therapeutic interventions, offering outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records, documenting treatment practices in compliance with state regulations and NCQA standards.
  • \n
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and coordinate patient care, collaborating with psychiatrist and allied health professionals.
  • \n
  • Assist in the supervision of Post Masters Fellows and Associate level therapists, providing guidance in line with your completed supervision course.
  • \n
  • Provide family support services that help clients’ loved ones understand treatment protocols and therapeutic interventions.
  • \n
  • Participate in the on-call rotation as needed, ensuring clients have access to care in times of crisis.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults and children experiencing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. This role requires a compassionate understanding of different backgrounds and life experiences, as you create a safe space for clients to explore their feelings. Qualifications\n

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
  • \n
  • Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
  • \n
  • Proven experience in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and therapy.
  • \n
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • \n
Preferred Experience\n

  • Previous experience working in a remote setting is advantageous.
  • \n
  • Specialization in trauma-informed care or particular therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT) is a plus.

  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

At Empathy Matters, we value the dedication and expertise of our staff. The salary range for this position is between USD 120,000 and 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and caseload management.
