Work Environment\nOur work environment is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and adaptability in your work schedule. We operate Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential for flexible scheduling based on patient needs. Collaboration is at the heart of our clinic's operations, and you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to delivering integrated care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history and formulate appropriate treatment strategies. \n
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are responsive to the unique healing journeys of each patient, focusing on recovery and resilience. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing and coping. \n
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and foster emotional healing. \n
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans integrating various treatment modalities. \n
- Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety for patients in distress. \n
- Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, enhancing their understanding and tools for recovery. \n
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation aligned with legal and ethical standards to ensure compliance and uphold patient rights. \n
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to continuously improve skills and remain informed on best practices in trauma care. \n
- Stay abreast of the latest research in trauma therapy to integrate new findings into your therapeutic practice. \n
In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to childhood abuse, domestic violence, and other traumatic events that have significantly impacted their mental health. Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, and you will be challenged to adapt your therapeutic techniques to meet the unique cultural and personal experiences of each individual.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona. \n
- Two years of post-licensure experience in delivering mental health services, with a focus on trauma-informed care preferred. \n
- In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities. \n
- Training and experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor. \n
- Calm and composed under pressure in high-stress situations, demonstrating strong crisis management skills. \n
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring comprehensive and confidential patient management. \n
- A collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team, enhancing collective patient outcomes. \n

- Previous experience in a community health clinic or outpatient setting focusing on trauma recovery has demonstrated effective outcomes. \n
- Familiarity with various evidence-based treatment modalities for trauma and the ability to apply them in clinical settings. \n
This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
