Are you passionate about improving business processes, driving operational excellence, and leading change initiatives? LHH is partnering with a Chicago-based organization seeking an experienced Process Designer to lead process improvement efforts, optimize workflows, and support strategic business initiatives across multiple functional areas.

Remote (U.S.) | Company Based in Chicago, IL

⏳ Contract Length: 6 Months

Full-Time Contract (40 hours/week)

$55-$70 per hour based on experience

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in process design, business process improvement, operational excellence, business analysis, or related disciplines in the insurance industry (industry experience required)
• Strong process mapping and business process modeling expertise
• Experience leading complex cross-functional projects and change initiatives
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, or related frameworks
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
• Experience supporting operational, transformation, or business optimization initiatives
• Project management experience
• Change management expertise
• Experience developing process metrics and performance reporting
• Bonus - Experience integrating AI into process driven initiatives.

What You Will Do:

Lead process improvement and operational excellence projects from discovery through implementation

• Analyze complex business processes and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and customer experience
• Develop process documentation, workflows, standard operating procedures, and training materials
• Establish KPIs and process performance metrics to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and technology partners to define requirements and drive successful outcomes
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), change management initiatives, and process adoption efforts
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and build consensus
• Create executive-ready reporting and recommendations based on operational and business data

Pay Details: $55.00 to $70.00 per hour
