School Nursing Professional Opportunity

In this evening-based position, you will help create a safe, nurturing atmosphere for students delivering high-quality care and supporting the well-being of the school community.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years prior experience working with pediatrics, preferably in a school setting
• Solid assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment for children with special needs

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, addressing acute and chronic health issues
• Administer prescribed medications and perform treatments per physician orders
• Monitor health conditions and respond swiftly to emergencies
• Maintain thorough and confidential health records
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure holistic care
• Educate students and staff on pertinent health topics and preventive care
• Support after-school and residential activities as needed

Role Details:

• Full-time contract: 40 hours/week
• Evening schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 3pm-11pm
• Immediate start, continuing through June 2026
• Onsite at a respected educational institution for the visually impaired
• RN and LPN openings available (evening and overnight shifts)
