• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• Call: No call required

• Unit Highlights: 11-bed ED with trauma beds, a behavioral seclusion room, and negative pressure rooms

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• TNCC preferred
• NRP preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Comfort working in a high-acuity emergency room environment with variable patient ratios
• Experience with charge nurse responsibilities is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan
• Assess, triage, and prioritize care based on patient acuity and clinical need
• Perform and support key ED skills including EKGs, IV starts, nebulizer treatments, BiPAP initiation, suture removal, and assistance with casting
• Support care for trauma, stroke, STEMI, behavioral health, and other emergency presentations
• Administer and monitor therapies such as TNKase per protocol when indicated
• Collaborate closely with the ED provider team, techs, respiratory therapy, hospitalist support, and other clinical staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the FirstNet charting system
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and contribute to safe, efficient department flow
