About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and highly respected CPA firm, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This position supports the firm's outsourced accounting and bookkeeping practice, providing accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients.


This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to gain broad exposure, work directly with experienced leaders, and develop into a well-rounded accounting professional.
Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain client financial records
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules
• Support financial statement preparation
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Work directly with clients to address accounting and bookkeeping needs
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and firm procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Public accounting, bookkeeping, or outsourced accounting experience is a plus
• Strong Excel and general accounting system skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and desire to learn
