Desired Background and Experience:
- Hold appropriate licensure or eligibility for SLP or SLPA roles.
- Experience or coursework in school-based, pediatric, or teletherapy speech-language services.
- Skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Effective communicator and collaborator with multidisciplinary teams.
- Comfortable adapting strategies for individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Deliver therapy sessions individually or in groups, both in-person and via teletherapy platforms.
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement IEP goals.
- Offer guidance for classroom communication strategies.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
