Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Contract)

Location: California 95370
Pay: $2,059 – $2,311/week
Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
Hours: 36–48 hours per week
Coverage: Every other weekend required; floating required

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide direct ICU nursing care using the nursing process

• Monitor, assess, and manage critically ill patients on ventilators and IV drips

• Administer medications and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team

• Delegate tasks, educate patients/families, and support discharge planning

• Document care accurately and adhere to safety and clinical standards

• Float to SDU and other units as needed; may be placed on call if overstaffed

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Acute care or ICU experience preferred

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California (Required)

• BLS certification (Required)

Additional Requirements

• Experience with ventilators and titratable IV drips preferred

• Familiarity with Cerner and Pyxis preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced critical care environment

• Must comply with facility vaccination and health requirements
