Manufacturing engineer – New Product Introduction Client: Fortune 100 aerospace giant Job Title: Manufacturing engineer Type: Full‑time Job Summary: Analyze BOMs and develop cost‑reduction strategies with engineering early in the development cycle and oversee execution. Conduct manufacturability assessments, ensuring product complexity analysis is completed and design engineering has simplified BOM, process, tooling, and assembly labor. Develop obsolescence strategies prior to entering production. Coordinate cross‑organization activities and develop detailed manufacturing plans. Lead workshops in cost reduction, DFx, or DFm. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience. 2‑4 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field, preferably planning new product introduction of circuit board assemblies or box‑build assemblies at a contract manufacturer.
