Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant) Urgent Care

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
• Diagnose and treat a variety of urgent medical conditions
• Perform minor procedures as required
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Educate patients on health management and preventive care
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing or related field
• Active NP or PA license in the state of practice
• Previous experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required

Schedule: 8a-8p

No call

Level III trauma

Multiple locations

Patient Volume: 20-40 per day, depending on location

Procedures: Sutures, splints, and abscess drainage

Occupational health experience preferred

Ability to read X-rays is a plus, but not required

Full support staff available

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
