Project Executive - Mechanical Construction A leading mechanical commercial contractor in the Sacramento area is seeking a Project Executive to join their leadership team. This is a newly created role driven by continued company growth, with the organization currently carrying a backlog of over $100 million in commercial MEP projects Position Overview The Project Executive will provide senior oversight across multiple concurrent commercial mechanical projects, managing project teams, client relationships, and overall project delivery from preconstruction through closeout. This role reports directly to executive leadership and will play a key part in shaping the company's continued growth in the Sacramento marke Responsibilities iesOwns the project management department's performance, accountable for the overall health of the project portfolio including revenue, margin, schedule, and client satisfaction across all active mechanical w orkDevelops and retains key client relationships, serving as the company's senior most relationship holder with top GC and owner accounts, reinforcing trust, resolving escalated issues, and positioning the company for repeat work across all mechanical sco pesDevelops, leads, and holds accountable the Project Manager team, directly overseeing Senior PMs and PMs, setting performance expectations, conducting reviews, and building the bench through intentional coaching and developm entPartners with preconstruction and operations on pursuits, engaging early on strategic bids and negotiated work to ensure scope, risk, and execution strategy are aligned before a project is awar dedDrives operational standards and continuous improvement, establishing and enforcing project management processes, tools, and best practices across the team to improve consistency, reduce risk, and protect margin company w ideProvide executive level oversight on multiple concurrent commercial MEP proje ctsOwn client relationships at a senior level, serving as the primary point of contact for key accou ntsOversee project budgets, schedules, and overall financial performance across an assigned portfo lioSupport business development efforts and help drive continued growth in the reg ionEnsure quality control, safety standards, and contractual compliance across all proje Qualifications ionsMinimum 10+ years of experience in commercial MEP/mechanical constr tionProven experience managing large scale commercial mechanical projects, ideally $10M+ in individual project v aluePrior experience in a Project Executive, Director of Operations, or senior Project Manager role with team leadership responsibi lityStrong track record of client relationship management and business development sup portAbility to manage a diverse portfolio of concurrent proj ectsProficient in Procore, P6, or similar project management soft wareMust be able to work full time in the Sacramento, CA #J-18808-Ljbffr Arena Family of Companies
