Job Location Villa Park (Trek Store) Summary As a Trek Service Technician/Advisor, no one day is the same as the last. This job is all about caring for bikes so their owners love riding them. Responsibilities Troubleshoot repairs and service all kinds of bikes on the spot Install the accessories customers select for their new bike Have hands on brand new models before they hit the sales floor Build relationships with customers who trust you to keep their gear running Serve as the face of the department when the Service Manager is not available Evaluate issues and recommend repairs to customers Qualifications Self‑motivation, a positive, team‑focused mentality, and willingness to pitch in on any task Fantastic hospitality – warm, approachable manner, great listening skills, and drive to help even on the toughest, busiest days Top‑notch communication skills Attention to detail and love for tinkering until you figure it out Eagerness to learn the ins and outs of servicing bicycles Desire to continually learn proper service methods and new technologies Excellent customer service skills; willingness to learn and problem‑solving ability Compensation Hourly Rate $21.00 - $23.00 Benefits Flexible and fun company culture Competitive health care PPO & HDHP medical plan options, dental insurance, vision insurance Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Free life insurance & optional term life insurance Competitive vacation package 401(k) with match and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP) 12 weeks of maternity leave with 100% pay Paid company holidays Tuition Reimbursement up to $15,000!
