Quality Control Technician

What You'll Do Ensure equipment readiness by performing visual and functional inspections of lighting fixtures, control systems, and accessories before deployment. Prepare accurate show orders by verifying equipment condition, cleanliness, firmware updates, and order accuracy. Validate performance and reliability by testing lighting systems using appropriate consoles and accessories to simulate real-world event conditions. Support equipment quality standards by identifying discrepancies and communicating equipment issues requiring repair or replacement. Maintain inventory readiness by assisting with post-show returns, documenting damaged equipment, and returning gear to inventory. Keep operations organized by maintaining clean, efficient prep and storage areas and following established quality-control procedures. Collaborate across disciplines by supporting video, LED, and audio teams during show preparation activities when needed. Contribute to warehouse operations during high-volume preparation periods and other equipment handling activities. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training or certification is a plus. 1–2 years of experience in live production or equipment handling, preferably with lighting equipment. Knowledge of lighting systems, fixtures, accessories, and troubleshooting techniques. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Strong time management and ability to follow tasks through to completion.
