Respiratory Therapist Opportunity in Tulsa, OK

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Tulsa, OK where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. The Respiratory Therapy team supports patients across multiple units including four ICUs, emergency department, and medical-surgical floors. Responsibilities include administration of nebulized medications, non-invasive and invasive ventilation management, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and performing arterial blood gases. Travelers will work within a team that includes a designated charge therapist and a transport/resource therapist.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state respiratory therapist license in good standing.
• NBRC credential required.
• Minimum one year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BLS certification.
• Experience providing care across ICU, emergency, and floor environments, including ventilator management and arterial blood gas sampling.
• Ability to work scheduled nights and provide coverage for weekends and holidays as department needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center or high-acuity environment.
• Experience functioning as a charge or transport/resource therapist.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 18:30–07:00.
• Travelers are required to work up to 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period.
• Holiday coverage required based on department needs.
