Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care/Telemetry position in Springdale, AR, requiring 2+ years of telemetry experience and an AR or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting,
• Day shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM,
• 13-week contract,
• Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) required,
• Floating to Med/Surg and Bariatrics required,

Job Requirements

• Active AR or compact RN license required (no pending licenses),
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start),
• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry experience required,
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,

Additional Information

• Responsible for shift-level accountability for patient care delivery using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies,
• Demonstrates critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning for safe patient care,
• Delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel,
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered,
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
