DevOps Engineer

WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
- Assess the GSD CI build and verification & promotion pipelines that were built to run on the cloud against client backup on-premises environment and determine updates needed to run in both cloud and on-premises environments.
- Assess the R-BOT TFE and Harness application that was built to run on the cloud against client backup on-premises environment and determine updates needed to run in both cloud and on-premises environments.
- Update and test the GSD and R-BOT systems with the necessary changes based on assessment.
- Support usage of the GSD and R-BOT tools in the on-premises environments and resolve any defects when application teams start using and testing.
- Write unit and integration tests based on chosen DevOps frameworks.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- [Required] Python programming 5+ years' experience
- [Required] Experience writing unit and integration test with testing frameworks like pytest and unittest
- [Required] Working knowledge of Terraform (Enterprise preferred)
- [Required] Working knowledge of Docker (containerize applications & best practices)
- [Required] Working knowledge of Kubernetes & Helm
- [Desired] Working knowledge of DevOps tools: GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Harness, and SonarQube
- [Desired] HashiCorp Vault
- [Desired] Knowledge of 3 Musketeers pattern (make, docker, and compose) Apex Informatics
