– Draw quality blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations, following established procedures and safety protocols – Prepare specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring proper labeling and handling – Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient signatures after venipuncture to confirm correct specimen labeling – Maintain accurate records and documentation related to blood collection procedures – Demonstrate professionalism and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients during specimen collection – Adhere to all safety, confidentiality, and operational policies – Perform specimen processing duties with accuracy and attention to detail – Manage multiple priorities efficiently in a high-volume environment – Support a safe and professional environment in various clinical settings, including patient service centers and medical offices – Exhibit leadership behaviors focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and patient-centered care

– Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections – Ability to work independently with minimal supervision – Strong communication and customer service skills – Accurate keyboard/data entry skills – Ability to follow established procedures and exercise sound judgment – Reliability and good time management – Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed – Valid driver's license, if applicable, with a clean driving record – Reliable transportation

High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred – Phlebotomy certification preferred – 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws – Experience in a patient service center environment highly preferred – Travel and flexible hours required to cover multiple locations with short notice – Proficiency in patient data entry and documentation – Ability to work in California, Nevada, and Washington requires phlebotomy certification in those states
