Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving industrial machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient production operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Install, maintain, and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimize production downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with PLCs, VFDs, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial environments.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights when necessary.

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time position
