Our portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products includes Hood, Heluva Good, Lactaid, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Planet Oat, and more.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Vigilantly monitor equipment operation for indications of impending problems and possible operational improvements.Ensure that all required sanitary maintenance is performed.Address equipment problems in an aggressive manner, as to minimize downtime.Make controlled adjustments to equipment to optimize the running efficiency.Responsible for maintaining documentation associated with operations.Uphold highest quality, safety, and cleanliness standards within designated area.Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient plant operations.Ensure that all resources are available for production run.Set-up oncoming shift for successful run.Expected to perform any duties necessary to support the team.Obtain information necessary to perform duties at pre-shift tailgate meetings and by meeting with off-going operator.Determine line "bottlenecks" and take action to improve.Properly receives and stores all warehouse deliveries.Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalentIntermediate computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, etc)Excellent troubleshooting skillsSolid mechanical skillsAbility to work well with peopleExcellent communication skillsMulti-tasked individualAbility to work independentlyPhysical Requirements:Standing: Long periods (a minimum of 8+ hours)Sitting: Occasionally for short periodsWalking: Long periodsBending: FrequentlyLifting: Heavy (50+ lbs) frequentlyCarrying: Heavy (40-60 lbs) frequently distance Pushing/Pulling: under 75 lbs without assistance frequentlyCasual Employee: This is a casual position with variable shifts that may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts may fall between 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m., or 5:00 am - 1:30 pm; or 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm; or 9:00 pm - 5:30 am - depending on business needs. Openings needed are primarily on Swing/Graveyard. Must be willing to work Swing/Graveyard.Casual employees will receive (80%) of the regular inside employee wages.
