Job Description
Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide critical respiratory care to patients as directed by physicians, ensuring comprehensive patient assessment and treatment procedures. This position requires a commitment to quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform arterial punctures and assess patient respiratory needs.
• Administer oxygen therapy and non-invasive ventilation as per protocols.
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment including V60 Bipap, Vapotherm HF, and Hamilton ventilators.
• Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system (Meditech Expanse).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• State respiratory therapy license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Critical care experience and patient assessment skills are essential.
• Preferred: NRP & PALS certification.

Schedule

This position requires shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, with every other weekend required. There is no on-call obligation.
