Teller Lead

Position Overview As a Teller Lead within PNC's Metro Market and Commuter Region organization, you will be based in Jersey City, New Jersey. In this role you will coach, mentor, and lead tellers to deliver a unique customer experience, improve customer financial wellbeing, and create loyalty while increasing share of wallet. Job Description Coaches, mentors, and leads tellers by example to deliver a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet. Processes a variety of customer interactions and educates customers on alternatives available for their financial interactions. Identifies banking opportunities during customer interactions and refers as appropriate. Performs lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs. Leverages technology, tools, and resources to educate customers on options for managing financial transactions. Demonstrates clear communication skills, transaction handling, and problem resolution processes. Assists the Branch Manager in performance management and new hire selection processes. Adheres to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits. Ensures teller and branch daily operations, and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately. Qualifications Minimum 1+ year related experience; no degree required. Strong customer focus, risk management, and the ability to identify opportunities. Proactive sales and leveraging technology skills. Effective communication, problem solving, and attention to detail. Ability to lead, coach, and mentor. Experience with branch teller operations and performance management. Incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual performance. Salaries may vary based on geographic location and experience.
