Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial. Experience Requirements Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety regulations, and inspection standards Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Ability to read measurements using a standard ruler to 1/8 inch Must be able to pass a pre-employment test Job Duties Operate compression presses to produce molded rubber parts Spray molds with lubricant as required Assemble and weigh preps according to molding specifications Load materials into molds and begin cure cycles Unload cured parts from presses Inspect molded parts for defects according to quality standards Trim, inspect, and package finished products Complete production and quality reports accurately Operate multiple presses and processes as needed Follow all safety procedures and standard operating instructions Preferred Qualifications Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Machine Operator. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
