Youll ensure our products reach our customers safely and efficiently while operating commercial vehicles with precision. Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor, youll join a team that values safety, clear communication, and a Customer Obsession mindset. If you enjoy being active, working independently, and ensuring excellence in every delivery, wed love to meet you./ppWhat Youll Be Responsible For/pulliSafely transport products from our plants to grocery stores and distribution centers using refrigerated trucks. This includes intercity and occasional multi-state routes./liliUse hand carts and pallet jacks to load/unload products carefully, ensuring our high standards are maintained from our door to theirs./liliStay compliant by maintaining accurate DOT logs (electronic or manual), submitting maintenance reports, and managing bills of lading./liliManage your assigned schedule and time windows, keeping the team updated on your progress./liliPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle and tools are in top shape./liliAttend training sessions to stay sharp on DOT regulations and food safety protocols./li/ulpWhat You Bring/pulliHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent/liliAt least 1 year of professional driving experience with a clean driving record./liliA valid Drivers License in good standing and a current Medical Card (or the ability to obtain one)./li/ulpPhysical Work Environment/pulliThe Cool Factor: Youll work in refrigerated environments (3055F) and industrial spaces./liliSensory: Ability to communicate clearly, recognize potential hazards, and respond quickly to safety protocols./liliPPE: We provide/require safety-toe shoes and food safety gear (nitrile gloves, hairnets) to keep everyone safe./li/ulpWorking at 80 Acres Farms/ppAt 80 Acres Farms, we believe taking care of our people is just as important as taking care of our plants.
