Overview
Registered Nurse - MICU travel assignment in Everett, WA. Start date: June 22, 2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay: $1,769–$1,920 per week. Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2-week period. Shift: 3x12-hour days. Setting: Level II trauma center with an adult/geriatric MICU.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for high-acuity MICU adults/geriatrics with medically complex, critically ill diagnoses, including respiratory failure and multi-organ dysfunction.
- Manage ventilator support (NIV and mechanical ventilation), HFNC/BiPAP/CPAP and titrate vasoactive/cardiac drips; administer IV sedation as ordered.
- Utilize and monitor invasive lines (central and arterial lines), assist with procedures such as chest tubes, and support rapid sequence intubation and airway management.
- Interpret ABGs, monitor dysrhythmias, and contribute to stroke care pathways including hypothermia protocol when indicated.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (RN, 1 CNA per shift, RT, phlebotomy, pharmacy, transport, social work) to maintain patient flow and appropriate census (typical 25 patients with 28 rooms); float as needed to telemetry or sister units.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Washington state or a compact license acceptable for practicing in WA
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Education: RN degree from an accredited nursing program
- Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience; travel experience required; first-timers accepted: No; patient-ratio experience with 2:1 (2–3 patients) preferred
- Additional: Prior MICU or high-acuity critical care experience, ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment; 24-hour orientation provided
