Massachusetts or compact RN License


BLS and NRP


2 years current NICU experience - Travelers MUST have Level 1B or higher NICU experience to be considered for this need


Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred


Must have experience with ESC (Eat, Sleep, Console) babies - Infants exposed to opioids in utero


Must have experience with TTN (Transient Tachypnea) babies - Infants with mild breathing problems


Must have experience with Blood Sugar Stabilization


Must have experience with babies needed respiratory support


Must have experience with High Flow NC (Nasal Canula)

Unit Details

Unit Description
NICU is a continuing care nursery that provides the latest technology and care for newborns. Level 1B NICU is a specialized department within a hospital that provides extra care for late preterm babies (35 weeks and beyond) and those with health issues. These nurseries are equipped with the latest technology to meet the needs of these babies, including:
Cardiopulmonary monitors
LED phototherapy lights
Radiant warming units
Resuscitation and stabilization care centers
IV infusion pumps
Isolettes
Donor milk
Oxygen therapy
