Human Resources Specialist

Human Resources Specialist Manage the human resources affairs of the company, overseeing procedures and support for effective HR systems. Responsibilities Assist in managing the human resources affairs of the company. Administer human resources procedures to ensure an efficient system of HR support, including new hire processing, unemployment claims, verification of employment, and signature approval requirements. Conduct recruitment to fill job openings, placing advertisements, interviewing candidates, and making hiring recommendations to management. Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward company goals. Support company supervisors with leadership training and development needs, including sexual harassment training and protocols, CPR certification, and HRIS training. Oversee training and development of new employees through workshops and seminars in HR-related areas, keeping up-to-date with federal, state, and local laws and compliance measures. Maintain records of personnel transactions, including hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations. Prepare separation notices for employees separating with cause and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations. Review documents pertaining to federal and state laws to ensure compliance with labor laws. Formulate management methods and employee relation strategies to optimize corporate goals. Stay abreast of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and other employment guidelines to ensure company compliance with all established laws. Requirements Two years of experience in a related human resources or management position. Skills and knowledge in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), employee data management, leave and time management, employee performance management, and basic analytics. 40 hours per week.
