Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery - Days

Hourly Pay Range $36.00 - $55.80 per hour. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights Position: Registered Nurse Location: Skokie (ability to travel to Evanston, Glenbrook and Highland Park Hospitals) Full time Hours: Availability to start between 5am and 11:30am. 8‑hour shift based off start time, Monday through Friday. What You Will Do Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit. Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient plans of care. Include patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate. Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice. Assume responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and make decisions based on the therapeutic relationship with the patient. Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care. Communicate and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. What You Will Need Education: Graduate of a state‑approved school of nursing required. BSN preferred. License/Certification: IL RN License; CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association. Experience: 6 months RN experience in a comparable role preferred. Basic computer skills.
