Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a general medical, intermediate, and ICU setting. The role involves caring for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The therapist will use a variety of equipment, including primary ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and heated high flow systems. A team lead will be available on each shift to serve as a resource, without taking an assignment. Clientists and intensivists are available on-site 24/7 to provide support. Shifts are 12 hours long, with responsibilities including every other weekend and every other holiday. There is no floating requirement in this position. The dress code allows any color scrubs, which are not provided. Department-specific orientation will be provided, including training on various equipment and electronic health record systems.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a large critical care facility License: Active state license required Certifications: BLS, RRT or CRT via NBRC Must-Have: Experience in critical care. Previous employment at similar facilities within the past year not allowed. Preference for Registered Respiratory Therapists over Certified Respiratory Therapists.
