Our Automotive Service Writers excel in bolstering service department business through expertly recommending and selling essential service to customers, while prioritizing exceptional customer service and fostering long-term client relationships that strengthen our ‘Believe in Nice’ culture. Compensation and Benefits Competitive Salary: Expected monthly earnings of $6,000+. Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): Employees accrue 4 hours per pay period, totaling approximately 96 hours in the first year, with increases over time. Paid Holidays: 5 paid holidays per year subject to completion of the introductory period and eligibility requirements. Responsibilities Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains vehicle information. Reviews service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service. Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts. Checks on progress of repair throughout the day, contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and obtains proper authorization before any additional repairs. Reviews repair orders to ensure work is completed and additional work is authorized, and closes repair order as appropriate. Explains completed work and all charges to customers. Maintains high customer satisfaction standards. Qualifications Two years or more of previous automotive service advisor experience required. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Excellent communication and time management skills.
