Job Description

Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician
  • Experience in administering and interpreting educational and psychological assessments
  • Strong understanding of special education law (IDEA) and related compliance requirements
  • Ability to develop data-driven recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ learning strengths and needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to interpret findings
  • Participate in eligibility, review, and IEP meetings to support tailored educational planning
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Provide direct consultation and resource recommendations to faculty and staff
  • Stay current with best practices, legal mandates, and district policies
  • Support ongoing professional development related to assessment and intervention
