Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Dev/Research Engineer 2 to support the research, design, development, testing, and investigation of mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, hands‑on engineering experience, and the ability to understand the root cause of mechanical issues. Key Responsibilities Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test mechanical tools, engines, machines, and related components. Analyze design proposals, specifications, and technical documentation to evaluate project feasibility, time, and cost. Investigate equipment failures and technical issues to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Support the development of structural designs using CAD and other engineering tools. Create and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, schematics, and technical documentation. Apply structured problem‑solving methodologies such as 8D to investigate and resolve engineering issues. Perform hands‑on evaluation using laboratory equipment, measurement tools, microscopes, and hand tools as needed. Support Design FMEA, validation planning, and DVP&R activities. Communicate technical findings and recommendations effectively with cross‑functional teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline . 2–4 years of relevant engineering experience . Experience with 3D modeling and engineering drawing/detailing . Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and root‑cause analysis skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and engineering reports. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with 8D or similar structured problem‑solving methodologies . Familiarity with Design FMEA, validation planning, and DVP&R . Hands‑on experience with laboratory or measurement equipment. Experience with engineering CAD tools.
