We deliver professional services such as migrations, custom app development, fast‑track deployments, and white‑glove services. Duties and Responsibilities Lead the month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting compliant with credit facility agreements and continuously working to reduce close time. Lead accounting for our Services business, ensuring accurate and timely revenue and COGS recognition each month and accurately reporting the services revenue backlog. Prepare timely and insightful variance explanations for prior periods, including detailed analysis of Revenue and Gross Profit fluctuations. Produce accurate and complete balance‑sheet account reconciliations. Prepare a bi‑weekly rolling cash forecast estimating cash 13 weeks forward. Identify and implement efficiencies in vendor payment processes to improve DPO and cash cycle. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures aligned with SaaS industry standards, GAAP, and company revenue reconciliation policy. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits and address findings. Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and accounting standards, recommending necessary adjustments. Mentor direct reports to achieve high-performance standards. Implement scalable process and technology improvements to enhance efficiency, scale, and transparency. Estimate, manage, and record expense accruals and prepaid accounts. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local income tax requirements in partnership with outside advisors. Oversee Sales & Use tax processes to ensure accurate and timely filings. Maintain Capital Expenditure accounts on a monthly basis. Uphold and demonstrate behavior consistent with Promevo’s core values. Skills and Qualifications Professional accounting and/or finance experience: At least 6 full years total (required). At least 3 years of technology or SaaS industry experience at a privately‑owned company (preferred). At least 2 years in a Private Equity‑owned levered organization (preferred). A CPA and/or CMA with active status (preferred). Significant experience with SaaS and Services revenue recognition (required). Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required); Master’s degree preferred. Prior experience designing, preparing, and presenting complex financial information to executive‑level decision‑makers (required). Proven ability to design, test, and improve internal controls to prevent fraud and waste (preferred). Experience in M&A processes from an accounting and finance perspective (preferred). Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, including pivot tables, SUMIF, INDEX, MATCH (required). Proven SQL or equivalent data manipulation skills (preferred).
