About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 Years in Cath Lab License: Current RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Structural Heart Scrub Experience Description: CROSS POSTING JOB. RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO in the unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. Structural heart scrub experience is a must; do not screen candidates who do not have this experience. Required skills include scrubbing for all procedures, not just diagnostic. Cath Lab procedure experience should include balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, and Rotablader. Certifications preferred include ARRT Advanced Certification. Unit requires target room ratios of 3 and will accept first-time travelers. Call requirement includes one call day a week and one weekend per four-week schedule, with fluctuations possible if someone calls out sick. Floating is rare, but may occur to an EP unit if necessary. Weekend call requirements are in place. Some more complex procedures performed include complex PCIs. Candidate must pass EKG testing prior to start. All testing must be completed within 48 hours from signing. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility per the job description.
