Industrial Laser Processing Technician — What you will impact- Operate & program: Set up, program, and run CNC laser cutting systems to convert steel, aluminum, and stainless sheets into tight‑tolerance parts.
- Material flow: Load/unload sheets with a forklift and by hand; stage work to keep machines fed and reduce idle time.
- Technical interpretation: Read and apply blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer requirements with precision.
- Optimization & troubleshooting: Adjust gas pressure, focal point, and speeds; diagnose and correct cut quality issues quickly.
- Quality assurance: Inspect parts carefully; confirm compliance with dimensional and finish specifications.
- Hands-on experience programming and operating industrial laser cutters.
- Comfort with computer-based machine controls and parameter tuning.
- Ability to anticipate workflow needs and take proactive steps to prevent downtime.
- Capacity to lift heavy materials and safely operate a forklift (certification preferred or open to certification).
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for effective team collaboration and understanding customer specs.
- Meticulous attention to detail—quality first, every time.
- Competitive Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour based on experience.
