Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Evaluation Physician (MD/DO) - Board Certified - Kansas City, MO

Position Summary: The physician will review medical records, conduct detailed TBI evaluations, assess residual functional impairments, and complete VA-required documentation. No prescribing, treatment planning, or follow-up care is required. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations. Review Veterans' medical records, imaging, and supporting documentation prior to evaluations. Assess cognitive, emotional, behavioral, neurological, and physical residuals related to TBI. Complete VA Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately and thoroughly. Prepare timely, objective, and detailed medical reports. Maintain compliance with VA standards, HIPAA, and applicable state and federal regulations. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely submission of completed evaluations. Required Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Board Certified in one of the following specialties: Neurology Psychiatry Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Physiatry) Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice. Excellent clinical assessment and documentation skills.
