Overview
We are seeking a talented and professional Sugaring / Wax Specialist to join our beauty and wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for skincare, body sugaring, and aesthetic treatments, providing exceptional service in a welcoming environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance clients’ confidence while utilizing a diverse skill set in esthetics and beauty treatments. Candidates should be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety.

Duties

• Performing services that meet the quality and time standards of our spa company and follow protocols.
• Providing education to guests on what services we offer; full body sugaring, facials, lash lifting and tinting, brow tinting, brow lamination, and more.
• Post weekly on social media to promote services, awareness, and location visibility.
• Actively participate in grassroots marketing efforts including flyer distribution and engaging with neighboring businesses within the plaza.
• Communicating with guests throughout their experience with us to guide them and set expectations tor service.
• Professional attitude with a drive to succeed as a team as well as an individual.
• Sharing product knowledge with clients based on their needs and closing retail sales.
• Promptly turning over the treatment room after servicing.
• Sanitation of treatment room between clients and each evening at closing.
• Promoting proper maintenance to clients.
• Follow communication guidelines and scripting to cultivate a positive work environment and seamless guest experience.
• Tailor each guests' experience to their needs.
• General cleaning duties including, but are not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, window cleaning, sanitizing, etc.
• Maintain FL state Esthetic license and cleanliness of room and equipment per state requirements.

Skills

• Proven experience in body waxing, sugaring, or hair threading with a strong understanding of sanitation protocols.
• Knowledge of retail sales strategies to effectively promote products and services.
• Familiarity with salon management software such as Zenoti or similar systems for scheduling and client management.
• Positive, enthusiastic, personable attitude and passionate about skincare
• Effective time management in a fast-paced industry.
