We are looking for a leader to be our Restaurant Lead Manager to join our dynamic growing team. Summary of Position The Restaurant Lead Manager position manages the restaurant operation to ensure efficient and profitable operations. Managers are responsible for the business performance of their restaurant, as well as maintaining high standards of food, service, and health and safety. Reports to the Executive Team and Owner. Duties & Responsibilities Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts. Managing your staff and providing them with feedback. Continually train your staff in all hospitality and culinary standards. Ensure all employees adhere to the company's standards, policies, and procedures. Understand all company policies, procedures, standards, and implement them. Meeting and greeting customers. Running the front of the house and back of the house. Advising customers on menu and beverage choices. Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service. Recruiting, training and motivating staff. Stepping in necessary roles when employees are absent. Taking responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant. Analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability. Organizing marketing activities, such as promotional events. Responsible for opening and closing checkout processes. Ensuring that all restaurant equipment is maintained and properly working. Planning and coordinating menus with the help of the Executive Team. Other duties as needed. Qualifications Must be proficient in Microsoft Office to include Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Must be technically savvy with a minimum of 5 years of experience with restaurant POS systems, computers, and online delivery and carry-out apps. Minimum of 5 years of full-service restaurant experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to think quickly on your feet and be a problem solver. Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up 25 lbs. without assistance and 50 lbs. with assistance. Work in a hot and noisy environment. Must have high integrity and solid work ethic. Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Expected to work long hours during peak periods, evenings, and weekends. Having or obtaining a food handler’s and/or alcohol certification is required. Experience Minimum of 5 years of full-service restaurant experience. Must have Front of the House experience. Must have Back of House experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office to include Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
