Position Overview Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Day Shift, 13‑Week Travel Contract in Anderson, South Carolina. Start Date: ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 per week (12‑hour days, three shifts). Employment Type: Travel. Responsibilities Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, utilizing the data to create an individualized plan of care. Identify teaching needs and goals related to each patient's diagnosis by collaborating with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record. Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and provide direct patient care using the nursing process. Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission. Communicate changes in patient status effectively to support continuity of care and patient safety. Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel. Contribute positively to the unit environment, promoting teamwork and efficiency. Maintain communication with management regarding service needs for supplies, equipment, and clinical training. Assume charge responsibilities as requested following orientation. Pursue professional development through continuing education and self‑study. Qualifications & Requirements BLS certification required prior to first shift. ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY). Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired. Completed at least one assignment with the current agency. PCU experience is required. Schedule The position operates on a Day Shift, requiring three 12‑hour shifts each week. Benefits & Compensation Pay based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
